Sepp Wejwar WIEN

The Viennese has been focussing on electronic music since 2018. Having been involved with surrealism all his life – initially “naturally” in poetry – he brings essential creative means of the roughly hundred-year-old thought construct into music. Automatic instant composition brings both the unconscious and the subconscious to life, an audible variation on the ecriture automatique of Breton & co.

Another means of surrealism is to make oneself dependent on external influences, which is why togetherness, as practised by FREE FORMS OF ARTS, is an ideal place for the music of Phantanoise.

Phantanoise is young, if not in years, then as a participant in the FREE FORMS OF ARTS; he has been part of the collective since November 2023. His work under the antonym “Phantanoise”, which was found in the summer of 2023, is just as young. wurde.

Behind Phantanoise is the artist Sepp Wejwar (musician, poet, videographer). Under this name, music is also made that goes beyond the usual boundaries of forms or scales – the octave does not necessarily have to be divided by 12!

Phantanoise likes to use electronic instruments from Vlad Kreimer’s kitchen – SOMA brand – such as LYRA 8, ENNER or TERRA.
